I spray it off there twice a week.
I always have water spots on my driver and passenger windows.
So, I brought it home and washed them with windex, no result…
I get some lacquer thinner on a rag and I think it’s possibly over spray from when they fixed (replaced) my door
after rubbing on it for a while, no difference…
and guess what, it’s between the factory tint and the glass..
you have to zoom in on it ..

That sucks! Maybe a quality window tint shop can fix or replace it.

Yeah, I got a little Mexican guy up the street and he’s an Ace, he does my decals….I’m just hoping it’s not between the laminated glass…(if the glass is laminated:))

Doc, Mothers brand has (or had) a window spot remover that works pretty good. If they don't make it anymore try some vinegar, and water. Grab some 0000 steel wool, and give it a fit. I use the 0000 steel wool approx. ever 6 months to get the hard to remove grime off. Good luck, stuff like that drives me nuts. However, the wife says that's just a short ride for me. :)

If it is between the tint, and glass all bets are off. :)

Hard water is a problem when washing but most car washers use filtered water.
You my try a rubbing compound if it’s overspray but if lacquer thinner didn’t cut it, I don’t know. Those MrClean pads work good too, be sure to use a lube like water or window cleaners.
SprayAway and Invisible Glass in aerosol are my favorites.

Bummer!
But you know what you have to do now.
It's become imperative, as you can never un-see it.
Best of luck!

aren't factory tinted windows not a film? i always thought the glass itself was physically darker.

0000 super fine steel wool for glass and real chrome. Never on a clear coat or plastic that’s been chrome. Been using it for 35 years. I even carry it under the back seat for getting bugs off the windshield when on a trip

I would never have guessed that the rear windows used tint film instead of colored glass. How disappointing :(
