If your battery and alternator can't handle the power load, then it's enough.
That battery/alt has plenty more to give... ?

This is just one of four sides... ?

Of course. Pods doesn't draw as much power compared to light bars. A 42 inch light bar is around 224 watts. Just one of my MAX SS3s is 38.5 watts.

I can say this...... I used the battery alone to test out the lights when I installed more of them. One of them was flickering. I thought I did something wrong. Turns out the battery wasn't giving enough juice. I started the engine and all lights worked perfectly.

Each of the Rigid D-Pro are 36 watt x 6...that's not counting 4 x DD SS3 SAE + 8 x Lumens rock lights + 2 x BD S1 + 2 x BD S2 + 4 x 20 watt side pods + 2 x DD SS2 rear pods + 20" rear chase light bar...so yea...I have no idea how many watts total but I've had them all on (including Bambi mode) and neither the Ranger or Trigger has complained...I'm sure @OFC Ranger can top me with his watt count...?

Engine running....correct?

The alternator supplies...... Generator amps at 80.6°F (27°C) 105 amps at 750 rpm (min) to 170 amps at 2,250 rpm (max)

That's 1,260 watts to 2,040 watts @12volts ........ We're good. ?

I can't even figure out what I would need the first two switches on the trigger. Nothing I plan to get or have would need the full 30amp. It'll still use them, just not to their capacity

A few minutes is ok. Any longer and it'll drain the power quick.

Not sure why one of my pods started flickering. I even switched pods to see if it was defective. Same problem with a different pod.

Nothing wrong with the wiring. It was rated to handle the power draw.

It was not enough juice from the battery. It was fully charged from the trickle charger.

Yes I just hacked off all of the extra stuff (switch, relay) it came with and hooked the negative to the frame and the positive to the upfitter wiring coming out of the aux fuse box. I wanted the lights to be independent, so I used switch 4 for the left ditch light and switch 5 for the right ditch light. That keeps them under the 5A max for those switches as well.

Otherwise you should put them on switch 1-3 if you want to operate them with a single switch. Another alternative is to keep the relay and use the upfitter switch to power the relay. That would let you use switch4-6 to power them both.

I went with the FP Rigid kit simply because they have the extra strip of lights on the outside, letting me point them straight while still getting good peripheral coverage.
Could you wire it so that it's 4 different switches? Or you think it's better with just two? I just got my FP Rigid light kit today. Trying to decide how I should wire it to the Ranger Tremor

I guess I don't understand what you want to do. What would you want the 4 switches to do?

Kind of stupid. But I was hoping I could turn the peripherals on individually. Along with the ditch lights individually as well. Probably way too complicated for my electrical know how.
