I have the Diode Dynamics ditch kit combo pro's in white and they are really bright, really well made, and easy to install. If you are worried about glare on the hood you can get driving pattern lights that have a more focused beam of light that wont reflect off the hood like combo patterns do.

(here is a thread I made about the ss3 kit)
I have the Diode Dynamics on order as well as their in-bumper 6" light bars X 2.

Where exactly is that wire bundle. Looks like it is near the battery? New Owner.
The aux fuse box is basically behind the driver's headlight, in front of the battery, in the corner. Pretty easy to find. The wire bundle is tucked underneath it sort of.

Baja and Rigid make some great products, but we love the DD pods. We have the SS3 Max and C1 Pro combo on our Ranger build and its been solid. We've tested baja and rigid before as well. And they both perform well! But DD is our best seller for sure. Feel free to message us if anyone has any questions or needs help getting an order!

I have to give Hot Shot a high five for their service yesterday!! I had reached out through 5G at 6PM with a question. I expected to receive a reply Monday but I was met promptly with a very informative answer. Then over the next couple hours (till after midnight and 3 pages of DMs honestly) I asked questions and researched what I wanted. I finally selected the SS3/C1 combo and very excited to receive and install it. Both Derrick and Colton worked together to assist me. Good guys, please consider giving them some business if you can. When I receive and install my set up I’ll report back with my findings. Take care y’all!!

Thank you for the support Eric! And for the good conversation we had. We're stoked to see the set up when you get it all and be sure to let me know if you need any help on the install! We will kind of match here soon

Yes I just hacked off all of the extra stuff (switch, relay) it came with and hooked the negative to the frame and the positive to the upfitter wiring coming out of the aux fuse box. I wanted the lights to be independent, so I used switch 4 for the left ditch light and switch 5 for the right ditch light. That keeps them under the 5A max for those switches as well.

Otherwise you should put them on switch 1-3 if you want to operate them with a single switch. Another alternative is to keep the relay and use the upfitter switch to power the relay. That would let you use switch4-6 to power them both.

I went with the FP Rigid kit simply because they have the extra strip of lights on the outside, letting me point them straight while still getting good peripheral coverage.
This or buy a reel of wiring to use and use it again on the next project. Just make sure you're using the correct upfitter slot so the amps are correct and you'll be fine. I don't want the extra relay or switch to be extra troubleshooting spots if I have trouble, so I'm wiring single line straight to the box.

I am trying to keep a 'clean' look without looking like the Clark Griswald of the area, so I am testing out the Cali Raised LED 'Side Shooters', so far not bad at all for $150 a set w/mount. Bright enough for what I do in any case.
