Steel. I think hood and tailgate are aluminum. I got a shopping cart dent in my door and already had that fixed at a paintless dent repair place. $200. Annoying.

Hood, front fenders, and tailgate are aluminum. The rest is steel. Easy to check with magnet.

Door metal seems to be very thin I guess like just about all vehicles today. The back doors when detailing seem to buckle a bit.

You'll be glad they are thin if you ever need Paintless dent repair. Imagine trying dent repair on a 59 Caddy....Need a sledge LOL

Nobody responded “metal,” I’m impressed.

Steel, only the front fenders, hood, and tailgate are aluminum. Possibly the front and rear axle too.

Magnet confirmed.

How bad was your ding? I had someone slam a car door into mine and now the lower ridge on the passenger rear door has a dent in it, about 3/4" x 1/3" :-(

The dent guy described it as so challenging he sent pictures to his buddies. Not because it was huge but because it came to a deep point. He fixed it though! Look for a local paintless dent repair place instead of a body shop. He took off the door panel and carefully and slowly heated the spot to a specific temp then started working on it slowly. For anyone who reads this in the future the place I used in the DC area was called Dentless Touch.

Nice! That looks exactly like the one I got but on the lower ridge. Glad to know it is possible to get it fixed

You should put 200 a month into a PDR account. living in that area you are going to need it. I used to live in that area ... I go back once in awhile to remind myself why I left

We love it here in Old Town Alexandria. I can walk to my boat on the river and 100 restaurants and bars. The grocery store and pharmacy is a few blocks away. The neighborhood is safe and I’ve never had a problem with crime. I’ve only put 19k miles on the truck in 4 years. Kids school is two blocks away. Can’t imagine living in a better neighborhood and I’ve lived in some nice areas. This one takes the cake.
