I ordered Bilstein shocks from Stage 3 Motorsports on July 17. I keep checking on status and they keep backing me up another 30 to 60 days. At this point, I'm not sure what I should do. But we are knocking on the door of 5 months. Can anybody else chime in here on their experience.

I just ordered a set of Bilstein 5100s Tuesday. They said the rears are backordered 4-6 weeks, asked me what to do so I said just ship the fronts. They arrived yesterday.

Yep. For some reason Bilsteins are backed up. I ordered online, waited a few months, cancelled my order and went with Eibach Pro Truck. And I am likely just as happy as if I went with the Bilsteins.

similar to yalls situation, I ordered the bilstien shocks and struts etc. from s3m. They told me upfront some of the parts were back ordered. I think i ordered in sept or october. They did ship some of the parts but i am waiting on others. Im not upset since I know the stuff just is not in stock. ive ordered from them in the past and things went smoothly. im hoping they will get them soon and we can have them on for 2022. i know other brands exists that would do the same but bilstien is a name i trust. if i dont have them toward the end of jan i may send back what arrived already and ask them to swap me to something that is in stock etc.

I ran into the same thing months ago. Ended up buying the Eibach 2.0 and Pro Truck rears. Happy with the rears, huge improvment. The fronts hopefully go in next week.

Well. Either they are oblivious to the situation or they are stringing us along. I'm going to wait a few more weeks. I may decide to trade trucks....LOL

I have an order to be notified when the front and rear 4600s are in stock at Rock Auto. Nothing for the past month.

When I ordered my Bilstein this past spring, the s3m website said they were low on stock so I went someplace else and had them in a week.
My suggestion....get them someplace else. Waiting for months is pure insanity when other places have them in stock.

I also waited about 6 months for the fronts. They continued to say in ~ 30 days, but when i'd inquire after 30 days, they'd say it's pushed back another 30.
My guess is that this is what their supplier is saying, so they're just passing on the message.

Also ordered near the beginning of July! It said backorder so I knew what I was getting into. It isn't a rush for me and I wanted to support Stage 3, as of now I am going to just keep waiting but will likely look for other options if Summer 2022 is here and I am still without them.

I ordered Rears only from them quite a while ago, showed up pretty much right away but they were in stock. I was watching for the fronts to come back in and they were backordered EVERYWHERE for what felt like an eternity. Stage 3 made a post here that they got a bunch of fronts in stock and I ordered some and got them in like 2-3 days.

My advice is wait until they are in stock, "backordered" could mean anything at this point.
