  1. rear brakes

I have a 2020 XLT and I replaced brakes all around. For the rears specifically, it was very straightforward aside from the fact that the caliper pistons must be twisted counter clockwise, while applying inward pressure. Highly recommend a tool made for that purpose as it made it very easy.
  2. Brake shudder?

Interesting! Well that will ease my reservation with using the parking brake after any intensive braking. Still interested in learning the root cause of this then! It isn't recurring for me yet, 17k on the truck so far and I'm too early in the life of the drilled and slotted rotors to know if...
  3. Brake shudder?

I do engage the parking brake when I park...didn't even think about that being a possible cause so I appreciate that perspective!
  4. Brake shudder?

So far I have about 1500 miles on them, no issues at all and haven't been getting any excessive brake dust either. I have only daily driven it with them on though, so nothing too taxing for them but I also have not had any reason to suspect they wouldn't hold up to some abuse. A light to...
  5. Brake shudder?

I was dealing with some braking issues with my 2020 Ranger, I thought for sure it was the front rotors due to the intensity of the surging since I was convinced I felt it in the wheel as well. I had done some extensive off roading over the summer with one trail in particular that posed heavy...
  6. What kinda phone holders yall using? On the Tremor, the top dashboard has the aux switches (unlike regular Ranger)..

Just like 2020XLT said, between the parking brake and center console. It works great, is easy to reach and tilting my phone slightly keeps it from bouncing or moving around as well. It is also central for charging cables from front or rear and keeps it out of the heat from some dashboard setups...
  7. Bilsteins

Just got the Bilsteins, rears, from Stage 3 today! Can't wait to install them. If anyone else is still waiting then this could be good news for yours too!
  8. Bilsteins

Also ordered near the beginning of July! It said backorder so I knew what I was getting into. It isn't a rush for me and I wanted to support Stage 3, as of now I am going to just keep waiting but will likely look for other options if Summer 2022 is here and I am still without them.
  9. Performance in high temperature and high desert?

Also no problems here in CO! The heat doesn't get unbearable, but the altitude and mountains are a good test on a vehicle. Even with a bed full of camping supplies, half a day of driving and then a trail that took 2 hours to go 3 miles, no temperature issues or even noticed fluctuations...
  10. Tune questions for group

Folks that mount the tuners like to have access to data that the truck won't display normally, it makes a good companion if you want to focus on the details before/after a mod, to see how the tune is behaving by tracking different parameters or keep an eye on specific temperatures instead of the...
  11. Darwin Award Thread

I just want to see the common method these folks are using to get the fuel out of the plastic bags.
