Hello

I'm about to order the Air Design Spoiler and Tailgate Applique and wanted to see if any of you knew the answer to this quest? Searching the web, it says "unpainted" and "satin black" and there are 2 different prices for each. I want it to match the color that's on the tailgate step? Would that be unpainted or satin black? I WAS NOT planning on painting either of these Gloss Black. This is the color I'm going for:

I have their extended flair kit...it's painted with German spec satin black...I believe that's their standard delivery...I'd reach out to Air Design...they're pretty responsive...

Thanks! I shot them an email after I posted this. On their site, it's just one option, but on American Trucks, there's 2 color options...

I want their whole body kit on my truck! I found a YouTube video earlier, showing how they install the Extended Flares, which helped my decision making even more! Did you have any trouble installing them? I'll have to paint mine Shadow Black...

The install was straight forward but required attention to detail and careful adherence to the instructions...the 4 fenders took me roughly 6 hours taking my time...after a year, I noticed that one or two of the studs had come loose at my right rear flair...probably not enough adhesive promoter applied...that is very important for solid attachment...I contacted AD and they sent me half dozen replacement studs free of charge...by the time I got to taking that fender off, it appeared that one loose stud led to failure of 5...but I fixed it and now all's well in the force... ?

They come a satin black color. You can get them painted to match your truck or leave them as the may. I painted mine with a black textured paint, then cleared them. So far its holding up fine. I wanted that look for myself but that what makes it unique for everyone's situation.

Cool! I'm going to have to go with Shadow Black on mine though, but yours looks good, since it's 4x4 :)

I do have a question? Where did you get the roof spoiler thingy? It's not on Air Design's site?

I have the spoiler... LOL... it gets painted tomorrow along with the the top bed rail caps and new fender flairs (not Air Design) to match the Platinum White on the rest of the truck. Hope to have it installed by Friday.

Sweet! Thank you for sharing! That adhesion promoter mess doesn't really agree with me, but after watching their video last night, I'll definitely use the piss out of the promoter, since I'm going to install more than just the flares :)

I got it from Realtrucks.com and its made by EGR. Auto anything has it cheaper.

I absolutely love the look of this truck. It is what I want mine to look like…not exactly like this but damn close. Badass truck my man. I’m sure all these mods costed you a pretty penny.
