Benny,
Are you able to source the Rear Leaf Spring Center Bolts for the Ranger? I have checked the Ford parts site and they are not shown on the diagram/list. My understanding is they are 10mm with 14mm round head.

A couple of local indy shops tell me to use 3/8" center bolts with 9/16" as they are close. Would like to get the right ones.

Hi, Benny. I posted in another thread looking for the spring that mounts on the rear brakes for the emergency brake. It was suggested that you might be able to assist. I have a 2020 Ranger, 4x4.
Thanks,
Ethan

Hi Dave,

Can you please clarify "center bolts"?

Hi Ethan,
I am sorry but the spring is not serviceable from Ford. You would need to buy a new caliper, If you would like a price please let me know which side.

Thanks,
- Benny

Benny,
Unfortunately it is not shown on the diagram. The center bolt goes through the hole in part# 5598 and the hole in the leaf spring just above it. It is used to locate the spring on the axle perch.

I’m thinking of swapping out my lug nuts for the black Ford Performance ones. Anyone know what the torque setting is?

I swapped mine and did same as stock lug nuts; 100 lb/ft or 135nm

Benny, do you have this part available? It is the driver side plastic sill plate:
KB3B-2113201LH

It has 2 blue clips on the sides and 2 white clips in the middle.

Can't find anything in the parts diagram or google except for an eBay listing:
https://ebay.to/3mramLe

Thanks!!

Got it Dave, I cant confirm this but I believe the leaf spring comes with this locating stud already installed. Since Its not listed with the rear suspension or axle housing I do not believe its serviceable.

Thanks, I'll let you know. I will say that having to buy a new caliper because I just need a spring is nuts.

Benny,
Thank you for checking. I was able to source aftermarket leaf spring center bolts at a local suspension shop.

Hi Benny,
I'm in need of one of these. I had the dealer install a trailer brake controller before taking delivery of my truck and I could tell the rear clip was broken. After installing the Amp powersteps I can see why, as getting the damn things off without carnage isn't easy. Now the front clip is almost broken as well. Can you also add all the clips/hardware and I'll tie it into an order for the middle bed tiedowns which never came in my truck (how annoying of Ford to delete those).
