Helped out a buddy today and detailed his car. Removed a ton of scratches on the paint. Rotary works well!

Helped out a different buddy and his Ranger. Ceramic/graphene coating, clay bar and car wash. Rotary buffed a few scratches as well.

Just an offer for all surrounding San Diego members, feel free to shoot me a message and we can set up either you coming to me or me coming to you. If you help me with your truck, I will only charge $60, or pay for gas and a little bit of my time and I will come to you as long as you have a driveway with water access. If you make me do all the work then it's a whole different story. Can even buff out surface scratches. Something of this nature might be $200-500. General list of things we will do to the truck. Car wash with foam gun and microfiber mitt/brush, clay bar with instant detailer and gloss enhancer to remove contaminants and give a slight shine. Rotary buffer with 3d speed shine to buff out surface scratches(if needed). Graphene coating for 1 year protection. Or Shine Armor Ceramic Graphene for 6 months protection and $10 more(expensive product but gives a better shine/mirror reflection). Honestly not making anything with the time I give and the material cost, it's strictly for Ranger friends, friends IRL and family. I charge $150 to strangers that see the pictures from friends and family. You guys aren't strangers though :fistbump:

The dealer washed my truck 01-April-2021, I'm just over 11,000 km.

What is the recommended schedule for the second wash?

LMAO, my 2010 F150 I drove from march 2015 until March 2021 saw soap one time.

A few weeks ago I actually bought some car soap, brushes, mitts, micro fiber cloth, but dim-whit couldn't find the buckets which they showed 56 in stock, lol. Honestly, I don't even know that he knew what a bucket was. Now I also have 303 Graphene mid-shipment from across the country, so I maybe next week it will all come together.

Dear lord!! I am glad you got a lot of nice little detail pieces coming in hehe. I shall await your shiny clean truck pic :) Interestingly enough, buckets have been out of stock at home depot around here. Had to go to Dixieline.

Okay, I'll definitely invite one of this day soon after my trip. Maybe we can arrange a Ranger off road trip when it cools do a bit.

Got auto detailing beginners kit all in today :)

I finished up my cleaning kit today with a single bucket and grit separator, then got home to find my 303 Graphene waiting on my door step. Also a 5 pack of detail brushes similar to yours and a gallon of McGuir's soap didn't make the photo.

Ha ha ha, maybe twice a year.

I'm not against a clean vehicle, but I live in the sticks, and on the shore of Lake Erie. I have two seasons; layer of bugs on dirty car, or winter snow, slush, sand on dirty car. I park outside and I look for dirt and mud to play in every time I am in the truck. I would have to wash almost daily to keep it reaonably clean all the time. The inside is immaculate though..... other than when the floor is bringing water and mud in that is, lol.

Hah, I will look forward to your shiny Ranger posts twice a year then Jay

Oh that makes complete sense. What a wonderful truck playground you have, I envy that. We are opposite in the regards of a clean interior, don’t make me take a picture of the inside, it’s shameful.:asshat:

Detailed buddies accord. Took out a ton of surface scratches. He was very pleased. Even a long one along the driver door. No pics of those because I am unfortunately lazy. But here’s the accord after detailing and graphene.
Side note: ranger has swirls, need paint correction with buffer next detailing project.

I call my carwash routine the rain dance ?
The silver colour on the Ranger hides the dirt so well I can get away with washing every 3-4 weeks. But my black Skoda is another story altogether....
