Window Sticker Access /Helpfulness of Ford Customer Relationship Center

For those that have ordered their Ranger, when were you provided or did you see a copy of the window sticker? I was told it would come to me a couple of weeks before the build. My build date is a week away and I have heard nothing.

On another note, I called the 800 number to Ford Customer Relationship Center to ask a few questions and was told there was less info available to the Ford Rep than what I already know. All he could tell was what is listed on the tracking website. He had no idea about when the build was scheduled (week of Aug 9) or anything related to the estimated shipping date or delivery date. He was completely clueless and said no info was available to him but the VIN (I provided that to him) and the order date. To say I'm disappointed by the lack of communications from Ford would be an understatement. The Ford Customer Relationship Center was useless.

I don't think that system works the way it should. I can't pull up a window sticker for my 2020 Ranger or my wife's 2020 Edge. It says the same thing, that the window sticker hasn't been released yet.

on my mach e order I was able to view the window sticker AFTER it was listed as built and shipped.

My salesman sent me my VIN about a month ahead of the build. I found several sites that allow you to generate a window sticker. The actual info populated about two weeks ahead of the build date.

that link I put out came from ford dealer site. they even use it to list used fords. I already gave my dealer my 2018 trade and they showed a windows sticker from that link I posted.
they already sold my trade, and my truck is not built yet I figured by the time the truck gets here the lots might change and my trade value might go down.

You should get your VIN about a month or so after ordering, and the window sticker is usually available approximately a week before your build date. It will be available until approximately when the truck gets flagged as sold.

I know there is an internal system with a LOT of data about vehicles in progress. They may just not know about it, or maybe they don't have access to it.

I ordered in mid-April and only learned the VIN 2 weeks ago after sternly demanding it from the dealer's sales manager. And in that same conversation, I learned the build was tentatively scheduled for the week of Aug 9. That is literally everything I have been able to get out of anyone associated with Ford (dealer or Ford, Inc.)

Unfortunately, many dealers don't want to be helpful to people who have ordered vehicles. The information is available if they know where to look for it and take the time to look it up.

I would guess that your window sticker will probably be available sometime next week......

My build for my tremor is also scheduled for the week of Aug 9th. I was told to not expect my truck any earlier then the second week of September.
