No surprise here from the 9th circus I mean circuit.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/appeals-court-blocks-ruling-overturning-125347924.html

A federal appeals court on Monday blocked a judge’s decision to overturn California’s assault weapons ban, which prevents the manufacture and sale of about 60 models and other features of assault weapons.

The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals issued a stay of Judge Roger T. Benitez’s June 4 decision deeming semi-automatic firearms as a good that citizens are entitled to possess for domestic use and defense.

Benitez’s move to overturn the ban allowed the state 30 days to challenge the decision. On June 10, Attorney General Rob Bonta filed an appeal which the 9th Circuit agreed to take up. That court granted Bonta’s motion and paused Benitez’s ruling pending decisions in other gun cases that have already been presented before other courts, effectively maintaining the assault weapons prohibition until further notice.

“This leaves our assault weapons laws in effect while appellate proceedings continue,” Bonta tweeted. “We won’t stop defending these life-saving laws.”

Thats why a lot of Californians are moving up here to escape the socialist government, most of them anyways, Im sure your getting them down in Arizona also.
They are! Seems like all my customers now are from CA and the parking lots are full of CA plates now. I'd love to move up your way but winters are just to cold there for me.

Just keep in mind that you can always add clothing to keep warm, but can never take enough off to stay cool.

True but now I'm so use to the heat I get cold if it's under 70. lol But the way this state is changing I'll sacrifice being cold for another free state.

Hopefully it doesn't. Depending on what time of year my Bronco comes In we might be coming through your way. I'm getting it in IA and we're planning to hit SD,WY,MT,ID, and back home through CO.

That would be a fun trip I used to live in CO and Mt also Its beautiful country in the mountains, and a good way to break in the Bronco.

Any Beretta fans in here? I recently shot a DA/SA Beretta px4 and the newish Beretta 92x and have to say I’m impressed. If I’m going to conceal carry, which I will be, I would like to go hammer fired DA/SA. I actually grew up shooting my father’s revolvers so the first heavier pull seems nice to me and familiar.

The guy that owns both of these guns that let me shoot said both have been utterly reliable and they eat whatever ammo he feeds them.

After doing a fair amount or research Beretta seems like an underrated gun company.

Picked up some new toys today.
-Nordic Components AR15 from a prize table at last weekend’s match.

-Area419 Maverick suppressor. (Check cashed 8/28/20, approved 5/17/21)

-Optics Ready CZ Shadow2. I hadred Henning grips and red basepads waiting for it when it got here.

-IWI Jericho 941….sort of an Israeli CZ75

Got the pistols tested with various 9mm loads and both shoot great. Rain started before I could test the Maverick tho.

Beretta 92X Performance is on my short list. Beretta is a good company, and you don’t want to sleep on the 1301 Comp shotgun if you’re looking for a gas operated 12ga.
