. He saw me pull up in my BLACK RANGER 5G. He came up to me and presented me a T-shirt thanking me for my support. Made my day

Righteous. They should sell those at dealership parts counters.

That is such a great story! We don't appreciate the hard working American men and women enough these days. To hear of that kind of pride makes me proud to be an American.

Yes, and he was very proud of what he does. I could hear it in his voice and see it in his smile and eyes. I had him take a photo of me holding the shirt up and he wanted to make sure he got the Florida plate in it too.

can you find him again, and send him to my place to re-align all the body panels they did poorly during my build?
I want to see that pride in person as he makes things right.
Amazing how those panels all misalign after you drive the truck off the lot, isn't it?

Your avatar is RANGER PRIDE.

The guy who gave the OP the t-shirt is proud to build Rangers.

Unless the t-shirt guy owns Ford Motor Company, how is it his fault your panels are misaligned?

File this under: "Throwing the baby out with the bath water"

I would love to have one of those. Both of our vehicles were built at MAP - The Ranger and before that a C-Max. Both have been EXCELLENT vehicles.

cuz he installed them perhaps??? or he knows who on his shift did and took away his thunder on the pride thing?? my panels, my bumpers, they are jangered from the build...not after i hit a few potholes on my drive home. If thats pride....I'm kinda worried.

I didnt shit myself this morning, I'm proud of that, but it's a pretty low bar I set.
Talk to your dealer, or don't buy the truck if you have an issue. Certainly don't deflect your anger on some guy who works at the plant and his proud of his job.

What a douche bag thing to do on your part.

Union workers take no pride in their work.

They take pride in their breaks, benefits, and ability to shirk responsibility.

To use a Ranger analogy, your comment is like saying "All Ranger owners love tailgate dampers".

How about NO!

I worked with union pipe fitters that were certified welders. It was no different than working with non union workers. Some are prideful and go the extra mile, others were just pulling down a paycheck, others couldn't be trusted as far as I could throw a horse.

You have a point. And this isn't the place for this discussion so I'll just leave it at that.
