Dropped $2400 deposit to get BFG Ko2s 285/70/R17, Method Wheels 304s, 2.5 Rough County Leveling Kit. All done by a local shop that knows what there doing lol.

The start of a never ending money pit! Especially if you visit this forum regularly ;)

I like it! Hey question for you, does your Ranger have collision assist? I ask because I would like to do this to my Lariat, but I was told it would block the sensor since it would be right there in the middle behind that grill. Looking at your pics, it doesn't look like you have the sensor but I can't tell for sure.

A few members have done this and reported no interference with the ACC or lane keeping so...

I don't use ACC (yet) and can't say one way or the other, but those that have this particular one say no. Search on Mountains2metal for more info in the forum. Good lick!!

Thanks, I'll check it out!

Edit: So you got me searching and I did find the Mountains2metal here: https://mountains2metal.com/product-category/ranger-2019/m2m-fits-2019-ford-ranger/ but also found this one made specifically for ACC:

I have collision assist and it does not interfere. I believe collision assist works on the windshield somwhere. If you have the cruise control feature, the big black box in the middle, cannot remember what it is called right now, putco makes a grill that is made with a cutout for the black box.

Continuing my pursuit of financial dumbassery, I purchased a travel trailer yesterday. I pick it up next Friday. I made the mistake of taking my father and wife along. They ganged up on me and I ended up with the more expensive one ha. Better quality though, so I'm not real upset. 23' box and 4,000 dry.

Got the wireless Carplay panel installed, I am a happy camper--works perfectly, looks like it was always there.

So...where did you get this and how exactly does this work with the phone?

Thanks

Go read the thread (@DirkM started it) on the adapter plate, you can buy the plate from him and the thread has the links to the wireless CP dongle and the charger.

You plug the dongle in and pair it to your phone and it makes it look like the phone is plugged into the Ranger. Whenever you start up the truck, CP connects. Works magically. The charger fits into the adapter plate and all the wiring tucks under the plate. When you get in the truck, you toss the phone onto the charger, it keeps it charged, and then the dongle connects it to Sync with Carplay. Like the trailer controller, it should have come with the truck.

Finally painted the lower bumper part. Does anyone know what the part is technically called. You can see I enjoy Front end Friday...lots of front mods..

Looks good. I did the same thing. I think this is the part.

Installed manual swaybar disconnects from @Av8or . Install was straight forward. Now I need to test the flex but that'll have to wait. Also replaced the brake pads, rotors, struts and shocks in my wife's car. Now that those chores are done, and spring has sprung, its on to focusing on yard work.

Connected the CTEK battery charger and ran the extension cable, which I placed in some plastic wire conduit, along the underside and comes out at the center bracket of the step bar (I don't have easy access to the hood when parked in the garage). Would like to thank Traneman for taking the time in answering some of my questions.

Also installed the Stubby Jr antenna.
