Genius. With my sunglasses on, those controls are impossible to find.
I usually just use the main touch screen, it's so much easier than trying to find these controls. Sometimes I'll reach over and turn the lights on real quick so it lights up the controls too. .

Yesterday, I opted to have the left rear panel below the bumper repainted instead of touched up...I'm particular about the cosmetics on the Truck. I got some outrageous estimates at some paint and body shops here in the city. Then I checked with another one that has a great reputation and good reviews. Their estimate was down to earth: $100.00, and they did a good job.

How did the scratch occur? I pulled the Truck into the garage and didn't get it in quite far enough. The inside of the garage door clipped a section on the outside of the rear bumper rubber leaving a cut about 1/16" deep; and also left a scratch in the paint on the panel just below the rubber bumper about 1" long and 1/8" wide. Fortunately, the bumper was not dented, only scratched. I not going to do any repair to the bumper rubber itself because it is almost impossible to get a touch up pen, filler or paint to match its color. A color that does not match will stand out more than just leaving the cut like it is. The shop matched the color of the paint with the right rear panel perfectly. I'm attaching before and after photos of this...

Had a rare 'nice' day, so I washed the inch-thick layer of salt and road grime off it. Trying to enjoy the clean exterior for the 12 hours it'll stay clean. Small chance of snow tomorrow evening which means excessive amounts of salt ?

We bought one of these from Tractor Supply Co. for each auto. Takes the guess work out of parking.

Good idea. I put a mark on my garage floor to keep this from happening again. When I line up this mark with the split in the step panel, I have approximately 12'' from the inside of the garage door to the receiver.

Dropped mine off at the bodyshop after a round of hail damage last week. Hope they get it back good as new.

Looks serious. What was the size of the hail? I had to replace my whole home roof after some 1/2 incher's pelted it.
