I will be doing the 2" Ford/Fox lift next week. All my research shows very minimal tire size increase with only a lift.
255/70/18 ( 32.1 x 10) and maybe as wide as 275/65/18 (32.1 x 10.8)
Stock 18's are 265/60/18 (30.5x10.4)

I wil admit I am very conservative about making sure the tires wont rub.

As you have read, other folks have installed larger tires than I listed.
But do be careful - make sure the posters have listed any mods, especially
wheel spacers and the removal of crash bars.
285/60/18 is what is installed on the Roush Ranger. These are 31.5” which is what Ford recommends with their level kit. I look forward to buying this size once my factory tires are more worn. I’ve been having the same question and this is what I came up with. I have both the level kit (will install 1/15) and the Ford tune.

2019 FORD RANGER FORD PERFORMANCE ECOBOOST POWER PACK PERFORMANCE CALIBRATION
PART NUMBER: M-9603-REB
Tire size configurable up to 31.5" as recommended with the M-18000-R Ranger Off-Road Suspension Leveling Kit

I am with you, I.dont want any rubbing or cutting or component failures down the road due to this ( getting ready to do a bilstein 5100 level lift of 2-2.5/inches then new rims and tires. After working so many serious injury and fatal crashes in 34 years, I have seen how crash bars and related components protect people, so IF I find that crash bars will rub I will replace them with the aftermarket ones that have stronger steel but pre trimmed so I keep the protection and the bigger tire I pick. It just has to fit into my garage.

With the ford performance level kit does that stay under 3 inches so that you do not have to replace control arms?

No need to replace control arms with this kit while maintaining the pre-set height. Hope that helps.

Is this information found anywhere on the ford website? Thanks in advance.

I installed the Ford Performance 2" lift and a 1" rear block. I'm keeping the stock 18" wheels, what size tires can I fit on it with no rubbing or having to modify crash bars? Any help would be appreciated.

This is the direction I am going (at some point) ...take a look at the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT - LT285/65R18 http://us.coopertire.com/tires/discoverer-at3-xlt
I have those tires, except in a 265/70/18. Really like them. I only have the 2.5" level kit and no rubbing, and no alterations.
They are about the same distance from the knuckle as posted by SVTchad. The 1/4~3/8" clearance doesn't bother me as that is the top of the tire so there shouldn't be much if any flexing there. 4000mi (with some off-road) and no rubbing.

We installed them without the spacers. So far so good with no rubbing at all.

Hey, I have the same wheels and want to install 285/60/18 tires which are 31.5". I have a 2" raise right now and like you I have splash guards. How is your clearance with the suspension and crash bars? Did you install spacers after all, and what size if you did? Thanks!
