Check the tire pressure. Many on this forum lament the fact that their dealerships didn't adjust the pressure from the factory. Some say the factory set the pressure at like 45psi when it should be closer to 30 or 32.
LT tires & door says 38psi. All good. I need more time with it. My wife is driving it more
then me & now with the lock down & curfew..... ain't much driving going on.

With our lockdown, my Ranger only gets out once every 7-10 days.

The majority of my miles lately is between my driveway and the back garage. I have to keep going back there for all these damn mods y'all are causing me to impulse buy.

A lot of dogs love winter and the snow. What do horses think of it?
Oh they love it. They romp around act like kids. Lol. The have a shelter to get out of the weather at their choosing and we have a heater in the water to keep it from freezing. We get an inch or two maybe two or three times a year. It not unusual for us to have 70-80 degree temps this time of year.

My experience with West Texas is along the interstate 40 Highway in late October and April. I always felt the people that live there must be strong and tough people as the landscape looked like you would have to work hard to make a go of it. I would imagine it would look a lot different later in the Spring and in the summer.

Hi Gary,

Yep. We are headed for temps in the low 80s in a couple days! Back to cocktails on the patio and Bar-B-Que.

Phil,

You knew my father in law Jim. You knew him from your days with Ford racing and he used to live in Green Valley till a few years ago.

Yes it is. Has been a rough holiday season for my wife and Julie. Just glad that he went quickly. Would have been hell on them if he hung on longer there at the end. It wasn’t pretty. Went down hill fast I. Just two weeks.

Hi Steve,

Jim , Tom Green (Transmission Electonics) and I worked quite closely to put together a Modular 5.4L engine shoving out over 600 hp coupled to a prototype E4OD transmission into the Ashley/Smith class 8 truck...wrenched by Danny Gonzalez. The install of this powertrain was fraught with gremlins but in the end was a real winning combo. This effort resulted in 47 changes in the E40D transmission prior to introduction to replace the venerable C6. Quite an example of how Ford Offroad Racing improved the Ford F Series. We went to Jack Roush about building the engine and he declined as he said it would be impossible to get any reliability out of the Modular engine. Oh yeah? Tell that to Jeff L. of Engine Enginieering...he spent many nights on the dyno and delivered a reliable 600 plus Hp motor, and Tom made his transmission work with that power and torque...way over production motor/trans combo. Your father-in-law was an integral part of this program to make it work in the race truck...
