Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

Ok today was D Day. I got my Ranger.

Got mine today. No discount and $900 less on my mustang that I only put 1200 miles on since they appraised it when I ordered the Ranger. They were like, we got in 3 Rangers and sold all of them the first day so no leeway what so ever and with a Prime credit score I was hit with 6.18% interest for 72 months. They offered me 5.99% for 60 months but I did not want to be strapped with the higher payment.

I was like shooting fish in a barrel.

However I am really happy with the rake of the truck, aka the raised angle. I just like the look and am not going off road. I was concerned because the Vehicle tracking page showed a flat , low boring(to me) truck.

So far all I found wrong was the key area is missing the ring what would hold it tight and they all were playing stupid. I asked my salesman to report it And I had To push the issue and he said he would put in an RO on it. When I asked him what an RO was , he did not know. Brilliant.

Congrats. It looks great. Front window tint would top it off if its legal in your state.

Question for the experts...

I recently negotiated the purchase of a Lariat FX4 that the dealership had ordered but not yet received. They tell me it will be here (Charleston, S.C.) two weeks after the build date - which they say is 2/27.

When I search the VIN on the Ford website, nothing comes up. With the build date being less than 2 weeks from now, is that normal?

They sent me a picture of a sheet that shows ETA start and end dates of April 8 - 14....yet they still insist it will be here in mid-March.

Jones or Palmetto? I tried to purchase first one shipped to Palmetto, but the were too high on price. Ordered through Jones.

Got my VIN now, and a build date 1FTER4FH8KLA31885 Apr-22-2019. Still no word on delivery and the status still says "In order processing".

That seems to be such a low VIN for what will be the 5th month of production.

What that indicates, if it tells you activation is pending, is the truck is built. The problem is delivery. A lot of trucks built have been blocked in by trucks waiting for things like the spray on bed liner, and have not shipped. @MI2TRAC called it Ramp Jail and it looks like mine is in Jail. Dealer told me today it was completed on 1-29, they're going to try and get it out of jail. MAP is 3.5 hours from my house, maybe 150 miles.

Ramp jail hmmmm I like that. Ordered S-cab, spray in liner so I am double screwed. 8/31 order date, 1/11 blend date, 1/16 build date still waiting. Oh serial # A03585 and you guys are complaining.

Finally got caught up in this thread. My tracker moved to production on 1/31/19 and have a blend date of 2/7/19 and the tracker says 2/8/19 for production. Hasn't moved to "Awaiting shipment" yet so waiting patiently. I don't have the spray in bed-liner. Only real extra accessory was the door keypad as I know that was causing some issues a couple months ago. Hoping it gets moving to MN soon! Thanks everyone for posting their updates. I'm just as excited as everyone to get my ranger ASAP!
