Hello, I pretty sure I've been bitten by the auto detailing bug and bought myself this entry level pressure washer
Sun Joe SPX3001 2030 PSI 1.76 GPM 14.5 AMP Electric Pressure Washer with Hose Reel, Green

My question is can my TriNova foam cannon attach to the wand as is or do I need some type of attachment gizmo? I don't have either of these yet but just want to make sure they're compatible.

Thank you
Dan

Yes the foam cannon should have a 1/4" on it and fit right one the quick disconnect of the wand. I have a Sun Joe washer similar to this one and the Trinova foam cannon and it works great. I'm using the Chemical Guys Honeydew Snow foam. It was thicker but I let it pre soak for a few minutes. One bit of advice is get the extra hose as the one that comes with it isn't long enough to go all around the truck.

Hey thanks for the tip AZ and I will get the hose extension next go around. My credit card has taken quite a hit these last few days and need to give it a little break. I got some Adams Mega Foam to try and all kinds of brushes, towels, buckets etc..... Spent a small fortune on the stuff but I tell the wife to consider all the money I'll save from doing it myself.

Anytime Daniel......Detailing can get a little expensive (so can this site!) but once you have everything it's really just replacing the small stuff like the foam soap and tire dressings. One other thing that I bought that I always thought was "gimmicky" were these hose guides. No more getting your wash hose stuck in every tire all around your truck.

I can't answer your question about whether or not the foam cannon will fit. But I will say this about the Sun Joe Pressure Washer. I have a very similar model, and while it works OK, it frequently tips over. If I were buying one today, I'd certainly opt for something that has a lower center of gravity. Something like this...

I'm guessing it's because of the reel and where it's mounted. When you're pulling on it it's at a high point so it'll tip easy. My hose connects down low on the back of the unit and I've never had it tip over once. I've never liked when the reel is attached, even when I have my commercial washers back east with 100' of hose I just coiled them up.

Annnnnnd BOUGHT!!
What's funny is I've seen these before and never gave them a second look. Then the last time I was washing my truck and the darn hose kept getting stuck in the tires I remembered about these. Best $12.00 I've spent in a while and they're actually a lot thicker than I thought they'd be. Now I don't look like an idiot out there swearing and flinging the hose up and down trying to release it from the tires. ?

Hoses and cords are from Satan. They cause me to flip out so often that I'll spend the $12 for those guides on the slight chance they will keep me from cussing in front of the neighbors kids.

I can drag a 3' piece of hose through the desert and get it hung up on something. :explode:

They were just delivered! I opened the box, got all excited and then realized it's later December in Michigan and I don't have heated outdoor water. Talk about impulse purchases, I gotta wait four months to use them unless I can come up with an alternate use until then.

Lol...Hopefully you get a "January thaw" like we use to back east for a day or two to try them out.

Nope. I'm gonna let the excitement build until April and then go hog wild! Who knew cheap plastic could be so dramatic?
