Installed a Westin ProMod front bumper.Pretty straight forward,stout install.Great utilization of factory mounting points etc. Should be able to put the front tires up on rocks etc much easier for sure.

When the new Fox "Tuned by Ford Performance" Off-Road Suspension Leveling Kit was installed ten-ish days ago, it was only a matter of time before new "shoes" would be "absolutely necessary honey". Over the weekend, that itch was scratched. Thank you Discount Tire. Went from the 265/65-17's Hankooks to a 265/70 17 BFG TA KO2. Definitely like the way they fill the wheel well up and really like the more aggressive tread. No louder on the road than the Hankooks.

In the continuing saga of the switchbacks, really didn't like the hyperflash dash indicators, so configured laptop to be the Forscan machine, connected up and applied the fix for hyperblink front turns.

This, in turn, caused the driver side flasher to do a 1-2-1-2-1-2...sequence which it wasn't doing yesterday. But switching polarity on the bulb-in-socket fixed that (pull bulb, rotate 180 degrees, reinstall). No more hyperblinking dash flashers and front/rear flashers doing fine. I like the white running lights addition.

Now, auto light function turns on low beams all the time, but green "lows" icon is lit and interior lights are all in night mode - before, the icon was off in auto mode the day time and dash lights bright.

I just had a thought about the turn bulb and I'll go reverse it again and see what it does, but anybody run across this before?

I've just installed some Amber LEDs from my local auto shop, and experienced the same issue, the lights outside blink fine, but the dash indicators go crazy, never thought to rotate the bulbs 180, I thought that if you had them installed the wrong way they simply wont light up, I'll try to rotate them and see if that solves my issue, if not I'm just going to stick the stock incandescents back in until I get an OBD II to USB adapter for FORScan, any methods on fixing the hyperflash in FORSCan?

Installed some low and hi beam LED's in the reflector housings on my XLT, have to say, these have a great beam pattern, haven't had to adjust the headlights since install. also, installed some ford cupholder inserts, just because I can ?

I had to show off my Ranger today to my Medicare Lady. She wades through the minefield of Part D Prescription Drug Plans. Our plan is raising prices and she found a better, more coverage plan that will save us about $50 a month... She is interested in a Ranger for her husband and I will likely give them an X Plan to facilitate a Ford buy. I have 4 to give away but so far no takers... Get 4 new ones next year, so hopefully I will be able to help her. For you non old farts....good luck when you turn 65...you are in for a real treat with gov't health care....
