@PandaMotorworks I'm new to tuners and the such. I would like to know if there is a tuner that allows you to switch, with the push of a button, between the stock tune and a performance tune ? Also, could you remove the tuner, leaving the stock tune "on", so if I need to need to leave it somewhere (dealer or other to have work done) ? When I had my 04 Lightning, there was a guy that left his Lightning at the dealer, and came back the next day, only to find out one of the techs took it for a "test drive", and ran into the back of a garbage truck....I'd like to avoid one of these scenarios... Thanks !!

There is no simple answer to this. But you can not install stock tune in a push of a button like switching to 4wd from 2wd. You can uninstall the tuner and have it back to stock easy enough just not as quick as you maybe thinking.

If we get cobb support we can do a map switch feature were you can have a wastegate map on the fly and keep it turned down if it needs to go in for something simple.

My recommendation to all my customers if it goes to the dealer you want to uninstall in incase of a unexpected PCM update etc which could comprise your tuner.

There was a company that provided tunes for the Colorado that allowed you to go from stock tune to performance tune by the push of a button. All you had to do was turn on the cruise control.

There was a company that provided tunes for the Colorado that allowed you to go from stock tune to performance tune by the push of a button. All you had to do was turn on the cruise control.
What tuning software was this?

most time switch of a button isnt stock tune its stock like because to go 100% back to stock you have to unmarry the device

I'll be getting an intake for it as soon as one is available. I've been checking out OBD2 boost gauges, like the AEM x-series, but may end up just going with a traditional gauge that compliments the interior. After that, offroad worthy wheels and tires.

Trifecta was the name. It may have been a tune to replicate stock parameters, but not necessarily return it to stock configuration. I was unhappy with the tune because they claimed x% in fuel savings but doing the hard math proved they just changed the fuel consumption algorithm. Mileage showed 28mpg, but after filling up the tank, it was actually 23mpg. Quite a big difference

I might drive out to St. Louis to Panda once I receive my truck from ford, by that time you may have a tune already....and that would be a good break in for the truck..then you guys can do your thing..

Check out the 5 Star 87 octane tune....

One thing we do not believe in is a 87 octane tune. The knock will be all over the place since that fuel varies more then premium fuel ratings. I would be scared for your reliability of a 87 tune especially when traveling.
