Fixed the big gaping hole in the lower valance...you know the one I'm talking about. Decided to do it myself...ran out of profanities...but it's not half bad. I'm glad I did it.

I brought it home today!! :)

The dealer installed Ford Performance/Borla exhaust sounds great. It sounds just like everyone here and on YouTube have described it.

The lovely wife and I just got back from Tybee Island this morning and I haven't had much time to tinker with it, other than popping the ignition bezel in, putting the Husky mats in it and attaching the Ford Performance license plate frame.

When we got home, I had to replace the filter for our home's well pump when we got home because a lot of sediment built up in the filter housing while it was turned off for some reason.

After dinner we finish unpacking, get settled back in and I'll get to do a few more things to the Ranger tomorrow afternoon.

Scott D is tired, but he is very, very happy this week. The wife and I celebrated our 10 years of marriage and I brought my first new vehicle ever home.

Swapped my aftermarket wheels for my stock wheels for the cold months. But caught a silly moment with both wheels on ???

Did you do the Bed liner yourself or have it done somewhere? I considered doing a DIY liner. But now think I may drive to Auburn and get a Bullet liner Done.

I bought the Herculiner roll on kit from Lowe's. I did it on another truck years ago and never had issues with it, and I was brutal to the bed. It was time consuming, but I don't mind saving some money doing it myself.

I would really like to see how it looks. Can I holler at you next time I’m come to town. Probably be next week. I would really like to see how it looks. Saving $300-400 Is always a good idea.

Question. Say someone wanted to swap out the branded fender vents for the non-branded OEM vents. How are they attached? Clips? Are the popped out with a trim tool?

Asking for a friend.

In that case I'd let them do it but it's not worth a separate trip to the dealer. :)

I forgot to mark the wall before having mine leveled. I just marked it after leveling then adjusted it (by eye) lower a couple inches and never got flashed since.
So....
Had dealership adjust headlights this weekend.
Picked up the truck and found (now) that they adjusted them as far down as they will go (as opposed to adjusting them to what would be a standard safe height for normal headlight positioning). Holy cow! In what world would it make sense to do that???
So now I have to do it myself in order to get it somewhat near right. Thanks for the link @AzScorpion, as I'll have to use it to put things to rights.
GEEZ!!!
:(

Not so much as what I did...but what was done to my truck. Last week rolled my driver side window down and when I rolled it back up...lo and behold....a crack appears. Then much to my chagrin...it grows!!! Quick call to the Stealership and got an outrageous quote (IMO) and was told by my insurance company that I would have to pay my Comp deductible...called Safelite and BAM! it's fixed..

Also, working on painting emblems for the front and rear. Bought them off here and decided to paint those instead of the ones that came on my truck...you know...in case I messed sh*t up...at least I would still have the ones that come with the truck...I'll post pictures once I'm done.
Safelite rocks, in my opinion. Excellent service.

That's to bad Chris I can't believe they messed it up, well actually I can. I mean it's a headlight adjustment not a tranny rebuild you'd think they would check it once they're done but I guess now a days that's just asking to much!

While you're at it I would double check the oil drain plug and filter just to make sure they're both tight along with the oil level. If they messed the headlights up no telling what they did on the oil change. ?

Dang. That's a good idea (even if it's bad I now feel like I need to do such a thing).
