Removed the 6x5 awning and replaced it with a 270 awning and sidewall. I didn’t think the 270 would arrive before my trip out West but I’m glad it did. This thing is awesome!

Wanted to mount a flag on the back of the truck, so I picked up a flag pole holder off Amazon for $40. Bought the pvc pipe, eye bolts, and clips at Lowe’s. My brothers is running for a congressional seat, so I had to help represent.

Look nice seem to fit well. Are they rated for use with heated seats? A lot of the neoprene ones i see say not for use with heated seats.

No where in the process did I see a warning against using these with heated seats. I don’t have heated seats though.

Ordered some parts from Summit. Gonna give it a go at my own exhaust. On my mustang, I did a catback for better flow (and sound). On the ranger, flow seems decent and I don't have much concern for power, so I'm going the cheap route. Picked up a flowmaster 10 knockoff, a section of tube, and a clamp. Listened to a ton of clips, and this was about the deepest growl I could find. Worst case scenario, I'm out my time and 60 bucks if it goes bad. Then I'll be forced to get a catback. Gives me a chance to play with my tig welder though, so I'm gonna roll the dice. Maybe I'll do a write up on it once I get going.

Side note: truck was almost out of gas this morning so I filled it up with 93 for giggles. Wanna see if it makes any difference in feel. I run 93 exclusively in my mustang, but not sure the truck will get the same treatment unless I'm blown away. Talking $.70 a gallon more where I live.

I'll have to check out Caltrend. I would miss my heated seats in the cold Wisconsin winters, Wife too.

Thanks

Removed front plate. Mount was busted, doesn't take much of a hit pretty brittle plastic. Didn't want it waring on the paint more than it already did. If the constabulary here get picky it's only a 5 day fix it ticket, and then only if you get pulled over for something else.

Also Mr EcoBoost found a new home.

Found a black background one to replace on tailgate to match Magnetic trim better. Still on fence if I'll replace at all. This one just stood out too much. Much better place under cover.

Swapped the showroom carpet floor mats for the Ford all-weather version. Softer than my usual Weathertech liners, and not as deep. I have doubts about their effectiveness, but will try them for one winter.

I like mine better than the carpet and carpeted mats that came with the truck. Don't know where all the stuff that gets on the bottom of my shoes comes from...lol!!

Only thing I found was that the material is a good insulator so may not transfer the heat as fast.
I am really impressed with how they fit. Pretty tight in all the right spots. Tested them out today with this dang Texas humidity!! Was sweating profusely by 9am. ??‍♂
