Good stuff. ? How did you remove the rear ford emblem? I plasti dipped mine but am thinking of using something more permanent.

I asked about 5 ppl before I did mine. There is a tiny notch under the top ford emblem, fit a small screwdriver in there, then pull up a bit, shove a plastic trim tool in there and will pop out. Two posts on back hold it in. Under that are 2 bolts to hold the camera bezel, then on back of bezel 1 bolt holds the camera in.

The knock off weather tech floor mats and K&N drop in filter were to be delivered today. Nope. Amazon msg saying sorry for the delay.

Installed a Lariat grille about a week ago and yesterday I installed an FX4 skid plate and Ford Performance red tow hooks

I got the skid plate from lkq. And I bought the red tow hooks from steeda. You need the 4wd hooks cause that’s what the skid plate bolts up to in the front section. And the frame already has the bolt holes for the rear of the skid plate. The front bumper sensors I never touched at all. They don’t get molested

Could you elaborate on LKQ, is it the used auto parts site? I already have the two hooks on my model. Was the install simple?

I finally got my Trac electronics window module installed. It is nice to have auto up and down on all foru windows and also the autop up with lock.

All in all it was slightly challenging the instructions are kind of vague in a few points. If you plan to get this you'll have to make your own wires for the winch so that you can relocate the solenoid.

I cant seem to find any good instructions on getting this on. The instructions that come with it are kind of cryptic.
Of course I'm not the most mechanically inclined guy in the world either.

Hi David,

I thought the instructions were pretty good. You remove the plastic silver piece from the center of the bumper and the license bracket screws. Sorry I didn't take any pictures during the install.
