This was actually one of my primary reasons for not wanting a Lariat. Coming from a Premium Package Mustang, I had all the bells and whistles (gauge colors, ambient lighting, keyless entry, push button start, etc etc, but the only thing I actually miss is push-button start, these keys hitting my leg when I'm offroading...I envy you XL/XLT owners, the "fufu" tach on my Lariat is ridiculously tiny.
We love the Ludington area! Have yet to be there during the winter, but hope to hit a weekend sometime this summer. Michigan's west coast is such a refreshing change from metro-Detroit lolJust hit the 15000 mark this past weekend! And had a good 600+ mile road trip to hit it on! One of the things I miss the most about Michigan right now is Ludington. Growing up in Grand Rapids meant that I was only usually 1.5 hours from it and could go quite regularly. Now it's just way too far to go, though hoping to visit if we make it up in June!
Yeah! It really is a great spot in Michigan, and honestly, anywhere along Lake Michigan in western Michigan is just great to be at all year long! We have been up and down the whole coast their and just so many great spots! My parents have a house in Ludington, we go to Frankfort lots, my Great Grandma used to have a place on the lake in Pierport, and just so many more great spots! And no matter when you are their, there is also fun! Year round! Well with the drive from SE Michigan! Every time!
