They share the same engine, and as far as I can tell, the same turbo, as well.

Is this engine capable of achieving the 350/350 numbers of the RS?

The only parts I haven't seen in the wild, for the Ranger, is an intercooler.
I'm a retired engineer from the big green ag outfit. In the old days of mechanical diesel injection pumps we saw customers goosing up power and torque by breaking the rack/swash spring seal and allowing over fueling. You could get away with it on some engines, since they were basically the same in a power series. But some customers got power drunk and eventually broke their tractors.

My point is I have a lot of faith in the manufacturer's engineers. It's a competitive market, so they're delivering as much as possible while keeping their product's reputation for durability and longevity. Any engine can be fueled up to produce huge power on the dyno ....for a while, until it pukes. I keep my vehicles for a long time, so I live with the power delivered. If I traded every few yrs, I might tweak things for fun, and let the next owner deal with any consequences.

What tune do you have ?......(you can pm me your location)
Regards
It's just the 91 octane tune from my SCT tuner, supposedly the 93 tune adds 59hp and 67ftlbs so the 91 tune shouldn't be too far off. I'm not getting a custom tune till I settle on which mods I still want. I'm in Maryland.

I don't know but it seems pretty solid so far. There's no negatives except for the transmission having to do a relearn and it's already smoothed out after a couple hundred miles. I'm extremely happy with it.

Nope, those numbers are to the rear wheels
Regards
I realize that, but those RWHP dyno numbers would equal what I posted if you figured for a 15% driveline efficiency loss.

287.7 RWHP would be ~338HP at the crank, and 387.7RWTQ would be ~456TQ at the engine.

I see what you meant now sorry for the confusion.

Have you tracked your Ranger?

What did it run with those dyno numbers?

I'm going to speculate mid-low 13's.

I did but the truck spins through 3 gears, I’m expecting my suspension Wednesday, front and rear coil overs ( from Freakride suspensions) then to fabrication..a shop here is going to do the install..a lot of cutting and welding. Then we will see about rims and drag radials..
