So is there an accessory you added to the truck that you're sorry about? Would not buy again.

For me those damn sill plates. They scratch too easily. I'm going to cover them up with the plastic Ranger sill plate
Also installed the RC 2.5" level kit ended up removing them for Eibachs leveling kit
The other thing I have buyer's remorse was paying for OEM running boards because they were already on the truck. They're not as functional as I would like. Mostly because they're only 5 in if that

I just ordered some TYGER 6.6" blades. Other than that I'm pretty happy with the accessories I put on mine. So with accessory did you buy that you say
'I shouldn't have bought that"

I bought some paint protection film, which was a good idea, however I should have had it professionally applied. I missed a few edges and they have collected dirt, so I have black areas on my white truck. The good news is that I can (if I want to) peel it all off easily. At this point, I'm happier to have the paint protection than worried about the black spots.

Other than that, all the accessories I've purchased have worked out well.

My Auto Anything roll up bed cover siderails dip down in the middle on both sides. I spent hours clamping and bending trying to force them straight and just couldn't get them right. The "bulkhead" is a heavy piece of weatherstripping instead of the bolt on metal bulkhead better quality covers include. It leaks, it looks janky, and I'm just not happy with it overall...but it was $200 and I got what I paid for.

My running boards came with the truck but I would've never ordered them as they just get in the way. I would have ordered the sliders (group buy) instead as they would be much more functional for my use.

The only other thing (and it's minor) was the vinyl tailgate lettering,I just didn't care for them on the tailgate so I peeled them off and added the ABS plastic gloss black ones and like those a lot better.

Other than that I'm happy with everything else I've done especially the level kit and tires. :D

My current bed storage setup. I have the Truxedo Deuce tonneau cover and Truxedo Expedition bag. But the more I think about it and the more I see others with them, the more I think I should've gone with a topper instead. The items I have now worked great at first and were exactly what I wanted them to be. But after only a couple months of use, the cover only opens from the passenger side and you have to close and latch it from both sides, and the bag is sagging, getting in the way, bounces out of place, and is too heavy and awkward for me to readily remove it for the times when I need more space in the bed. A topper would give me so much more rear cargo room, I think they look pretty nice now that I've seen others with them on their Rangers, and now that we have 3 dogs it'd be a nice place to have them stay when we have to leave them alone in the truck for an hour or so (like eating at a restaurant while on our travels or something). Wife doesn't seem too enthused by the idea, especially with how expensive they are. So who knows if I'll actually go through with it or not.

I can't really think of anything. I took the bed mat out of my F150 and trimmed it to fit and ordered a tray go put in the top of my console from eBay. I just drive my Ranger on the weekend, well pleased with it so far.

I put on A LOT of accessories and cannot think of anything I regret.
But.....as much as I like my BAKflip MX4, maybe next time a hard-retractable tonneau bed cover (like a Petagon, GatorTrax, or Roll N Lock); they just seem like an easier install and easier to open and close.

This thread is for the bold and the honest. Because choice-supportive bias is real, and everyone is going to say they like their new mod even if they don't.

As one of the very very few people on this forum who doesn't intend to buy much for my truck and will keep it mostly stock, I won't have much input on this thread. But if we could include things that came with your truck, I think I would include the plastic bedliner. At this point I think I've decided I would rather have a Line-X Custom Coating style of protection rather than a piece of plastic, But I got a good deal on the truck and the plastic bedliner came along with the deal.

I have a few accessory regrets.
A soft cargo cover over a hard fold and the Raptor style grill LEDs..meh. Also, the garbage OEM sill plates that scratch so easily.

Also with going with RC 2.5" level kit and install cost and then taken out for Eibach struts.

I agree with you about the plastic drop in liner my truck also came with it - I was planning on doing a line-x type liner and may still - but for now oh well it was free.

I’m happy with everything I have put on my truck but if I had to pick one thing... I’d have put on a BAK MX4 instead of my Undercover UltraFlex. I like the cover I have but the MX4 looks a little cleaner and has nicer finished corners.
