Zero power, 750 miles

Hi folks, recently got a 21 XLT FX4 with the sync 3 tech package.

Have about 750 miles on it, went for an errand, came back out hit the key fob to open door, nothing, tried a few more times and nothing.

Opened the door with the physical key, tried to unlock the other dooe using the door lock switch inside, nothing. Tried to start truck, no power no ding, no sync, just dead.

Opened hood, tried wiggling battery connects, got back in all still dead, was about to call AAA when I just started randomly pressing buttons on the dash for some reason and I swear I hit the radio volume on/off and it came back to life.

Key fob now seemed to work again for doors, shut the hood and I drove home.

I've had similar in my Ram 1500. I doubt it had anything to do with you hitting radio. So my point it that this seems to happen occassionally in modern high tech vehicles.

I searched for "no power" "no electricity" and browsed some pages looking for it if this is your super cool way to say it's a known issue.

The point was that you created multiple threads for the same issue. That's not helpful, and will only cause confusion when people do try to help you.

Id take it to dealer and have them check everything….. because im no mechanic other than basic maintenance stuff

You did better than me. I made it all of 25 miles. Either the heater box exploded, catch can exploded, maybe both. This happened 2 years ago and no one will make it right. Told the bank to come and get it and they refused. Even Carvana wouldn't take it and they will buy anything!
