Wow - that is spectacularly bad..... It is evident they are pushing Bronco builds however - over Rangers.

The numbers of F-150s is really bad. They usually produce close to a million of those a year - this is about half that rate.
It's really scary when you look at these numbers and realize they haven't even produced 1 million units combined.

They had always said they were going to prioritize the Bronco over the Ranger as soon as they had the line up and running at full speed. Here's what one of the guys who has very credible inside info just posted a week ago during the shutdown.

When MAP fires up the assembly lines again on Monday, they'll be operating with a production schedule of 550 vehicles per shift. While I haven't seen the most current blend target of Bronco to Ranger, I believe it was set to be somewhere between 60/40 and 70/30 favoring Bronco.

Wow, I'd like to see firsthand how they can move 550 vehicles off the line in an 8 or 10 hour shift.

They must have things dialed in pretty good - I remember when Rangers were first being produced they were getting 250 or so - a really good day was 500 - so if they are hitting 550, they have things running pretty smoothly I'd guess.

The probability is high that most of these have already been built and sitting on lots waiting for chips so they can finish them off and ship. They won’t let onto to that though because it isn’t good PR for them. So, stall a customer inquiry blame it on the lack of data from internal computer systems and let’s get these units shipped! Don’t you find it ironic that most on this thread are getting the same week for shipping…

That has nothing to do with it because the same is happening with the Bronco. The dealers have even told customers that there's a glitch in the system and they're getting deliveries every day when the customers portal is stuck "in production".

It's been all over the news now for several months about the chip shortages and showing lots packed with vehicles so there's no way Ford or any manufacturer can hide this from bad PR. It is what it is right now and there's not much relief in sight. Until the new factories here in AZ are built and the ones overseas are back up and running this will be the new norm for at least the next year.

Unfortunately they won't be able to continue building them at that rate due to parts constraints. But as long as there's inventory they have it to where they can hit those numbers. They're also expecting more down time (MAP shutdowns) to deal with commodity issues.

You can read more below and he does update the OP when he receives more info so you don't have to read through pages of ticked of members.

The Ford tracker is not accurate right now. This guy works at the KY plant and just posted this. His Bronco is at his dealer now getting PDI.

Ford Tracker right now

I checked palsapp this morning around 6am

Salesman called this morning and its going through PDI now.

Between the 3, I am awaiting shipment, it has shipped, and it has been delivered.

I wouldn't trust the trackers to be very accurate. Still have not received any shipment emails either.

IIRC it's the sequence of units that have come off the line. It starts at 0001 and resets at 9999. There's a mix of Broncos mixed into this. If you had a window sticker from someone else with a build the same week as yours you could gauge where in line they are. Vehicles are not built in VIN order.

From everything I've read you won't get a window sticker until they have all the parts to build it. So if everything holds true yours should be getting built next Thursday. There were several others on the Bronco forum awaiting their window stickers and they just popped up today with the same build date as yours.

Another cool thing I just found is you can tell your place in line. See the numbers on the far right 111/225, the 111 is your place in the assembly line and the 225 is the number of units getting built that day.

That is pretty cool - I saved all my window stickers as they changed thru the build process but none of mine have those numbers on them. That must be something new.

I didn't order mine and I only have the dealers window sticker which doesn't have any of this info, not even the blend dates. I'm not sure when they added this but maybe someone with a 2020 could check theirs? I guess it gives you something else to talk about while you're waiting for your delivery. lol?

I'm assuming that if there is no destination or destination name and status is pending in palsapp then it's safe to assume it hasn't moved from MAP yet?
