I believe this is the name of the item. It is, on my Lariat, the black panel between the door window and the rear door of my Supercab. I guess a branch or something has ripped the stick-on covering.

Any ideas on how to:
1. protect the issue now so no more damage or water intrusion happens until repair
2. How to repair?
