Window functions.

Been following this for a while and trying to justify it. Had auto window down from the remote on our Saturn, and used it a lot in the summer. (no remote start) With the Ranger I just do a remote start and let climate control heat/cool truck as needed. The venting is nice just need to remember to do it manually before leaving truck. The only real useful feature of the module is the auto close on lock. Handy if windows left open at home or at campground and a shower comes through. My question is, does the auto up on lock work when using Fordpass to lock the truck from my phone? Not always close enough to use the fob.

Man, I didn't know how rough I had it with the 2002 Silverado I traded in for my Ranger. I had to unlock the doors with a key, and roll down the windows by hand!

Hey Big Blue -- just used my fob to lower the windows (Unlock, Unlock, Unlock) - they all went down as advertised. I then opened Ford Pass on my phone, and pressed "Lock" ... all the windows went up as they were supposed to. So, that should answer your question, eh??

Yeah that answers the question thanks! Now to justify it with the better half.
Which module do you have the Redtek or the Trac? Not sure if they both work quite the same.

Unfortunately both Redtek and Trac are currently out of modules. Amy other options/solutions?

If the Lariat's have the auto up/down on all 4 windows you can enable it with Forscan. I did it ony Escape Titanium and Focus Titanium. It's called global windows
