Winch rope question

Alrighty, so with the purchase of my new to me Warn Winch I will be needing to get some new Winch Rope for it. For both Safety and Weight reasons I have determined it would be best to get Synthetic Rope vs the Steel Cable. I have been looking at a few different Winch Ropes and have been going back and forth as to what I should get and understand I should avoid the Made in China stuff for obvious reasons.

For those that have made the switch, what brand Ropes are you using?

Will I decided to pull the trigger on the MaxTrax Winch Rope. Since I was able to get a great price on it and other stuff that goes with it from Australia(including the shipping cost), it should be here in a few weeks. Though I hope I don't need it ever, I'm looking forward to having it at the ready just in case.

Well after having it here for a few weeks I finally got to installing the winch rope. As mentioned above it is by MaxTrax. If Mary serves me correctly this rope is about 100 ft long. Yes that is quite a bit of rope but then again better to have a little bit of extra versus not enough. All in all I feel it was a good choice. Along with the rope I ended up getting some soft shackles and necessary extensions with tree saver. The rope with all the extra equipment I but I'd say I probably spent around $600? It is a lot of money but then again when it comes to safety equipment you usually don't want to skimp out.

Regardless here it is installed in the truck.

I have only used mine for pulling equipment onto trailers. So whatever is cheap and works. Straight pull up trailer ramps. So nothing special needed there.

That's a bit of a different use to say the least. That said it is still a good idea to not get a cheap rope/cable simply for safety reasons
