Have a 2021 ranger want to get a UPR catch can installed at the dealer when I get my first oil change. Will this void my extended warranty?

Have a 2021 ranger want to get a UPR catch can installed at the dealer when I get my first oil change. Will this void my extended warranty?
The dealer is installing it? And they can't tell you whether it will perhaps void your extended warranty?

Are you a gambling sort? Roll the dice... you might get snake eyes. I wouldn't install one, for that very reason.... well at least not until after the warranty expires.

Unfortunately I forgot to tell them I had the extended warranty on the new Ranger. There Service Advisor never heard of the catch can, and I told him to go ask a mechanic about it. When he called me back he said they would install it at $125.00 and hour. He said it would take a couple of hours

I thought it would be a preventive maintenance kind of thing. Just the crud that builds up on these intake valves on these GDI Motors sounds like a freaking nightmare. and your left with the problem. specially with a turbo. My 2005 F-150 Triton finally let go after 268,000 so I purchased the Ranger. Down to one income. Anyways thanks for letting me post on here and answering

I would use top tier premium gasoline only, change my oil to full synthetic every 5k and use an injector cleaner periodically, you should be good.

So far I been filling up with 89 octane. Owners manual say minimum 87 best overall performance use 91. ok premium it is
