Cheech flinches anytime I grab it ...

That stuff is awesome. My wife has her own tiny bottle for hinge squeaks and the smell doesn't bother her. I bet your damper doesn't squeak anymore.

Soooo many childish joke opportunities here.

But seriously, what kind of odor does that stuff give off? I recently changed my gun cleaner/lube to something very effective yet does not have an offensive odor. (not that I hate the good ole smell of Hoppe's)
I couldn't resist! ?‍♂:bandit:

I've been using this Rem oil spray cleaner/lubricant for years. I've never noticed any strong smell from it and it works well. I'll admit I'm bad when it comes to cleaning my guns and this stuff works good and makes it quick and easy to do. I do run a bore snake through all mine every time we're out but most of them now need a total breakdown and thorough cleaning.

Hmm, never used it for that - it has a very low mint odor that dissipates fairly quickly. I like MILITEC-1. ;)

I am totally in agreement, I hate cleaning my weapons but realize it's a must. My routine is much like yours, only I use Safari Charlie. Yes, crazy name, but damn this stuff works with a mild citrusy smell that doesn't linger too long.

Drove the F150 to work today. Boy those tires are annoying. I realized for sure it's too much truck for a daily driver. The seat is pretty comfortable though.

It's official, wife's '19 Edge needs a new transmission at ~40k miles. Dealer is waiting for the new one. We're still driving the loaner F150.
She's considering just trading up for a newer one. Anybody know when the Edge's transmission had any signficant changes? There's a '20 and a '21 currently on the lot.
