If I could have my way I'd have Cragar S/S 6 spoke 17" rims in the exact same finish as my sport rims, and definitely BFG K02's white letters out.

Only if you are buying BFG's...

I’ve always used Comet powder cleaner. I get the tires wet, put the powder onto a hard plastic bristle brush and scrub. I do the entire sidewall.

I blow off the tire (and wheel) with my compressor to dry, then dress the tire with tire shine.

The lettering is as white as a Kardashian’s teeth! ?

Sorry, White Out is for old typists and Michael Nesmith (whose Mom invented White Out).

I requested the original Hankooks tires be flipped as part of my deal. Fortunately my KO2s don't have any white lettering to have to hide.

I like the white out...depending on tire actually.
And as for Michael Nesmith....I am sure Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones and Peter Tork have an opinion too! :sunglasses:

Am I showing my age?

Got a small price to pay to have white indicators outside. If I could have done that with my Michelin's I would have.

Hi Adam,

On my race car...no decal or such if no $ or free product. I do not put any decals on my vehicle unless there is a reason. That said. If it is tires that are OEM...I am not going to do anything until replacement when I will turn them black side out. The exception was when on my 2007 Ranger when I replaced the ContiTrac tires, I supported showcasing Cooper as they sponsor the series that feed into the IndyCar series.

Best,

I love Indy Car and have met several of the drivers on Andretti Racing team over the last several years and they are all pretty nice except one that I didn't care for. Several years ago and she wasn't very personable lol. TK is one of the nicest people you would ever meet.

My wife did a quick photoshop of my truck tonight and I’m trying to decide whether to go white letters in or out - I’m leaning toward letters In but what does everyone think? Tires are General Grabber ATX 265/70R17 and wheels are black Fuel Shok.

I'm a letters out guy, but you do have to maintain them to keep them looking nice. And as they age (mileage) they get rougher and rougher.

In. If you do ANY type of offroading the white lettering will look like cr$p before long plus you have to maintain the "cleanliness" of the raised white lettering.
