My wife did a quick photoshop of my truck tonight and I’m trying to decide whether to go white letters in or out - I’m leaning toward letters In but what does everyone think? Tires are General Grabber ATX 265/70R17 and wheels are black Fuel Shok.

Hi Adam,

On my race car...no decal or such if no $ or free product. I do not put any decals on my vehicle unless there is a reason. That said. If it is tires that are OEM...I am not going to do anything until replacement when I will turn them black side out. The exception was when on my 2007 Ranger when I replaced the ContiTrac tires, I supported showcasing Cooper as they sponsor the series that feed into the IndyCar series.

Best,

Hi Folks,

Times change so I am not sure if this applies today, but back in the days of white side wall tires, All tires were made with white walls, but it was if they were sent to a buffing operation that exposed the white wall or left black. Buffing was via wire brushes that abraded the white ring layed up in the tire. Not sure with Raised white Letter Tires. My Race car slicks had white letters on both sides. I ran Hoosier Tires for most of my racing. As I got them free, the nose of my race car proudly displayed Hoosier!

Best.

After a while, white lettering looks yellowish and dingy with a white truck.
