I'm a member on a few of them, 99% of posts are pure vanity and aesthetics. I'm looking for outdoor activity, camping, offroad oriented focus. Suspension lifts, gear organization, maybe even towing/hauling, trip reports. Heck, even hunting, not that I'm a hunter but I'm more interested and would relate to that more than waxes, decals and aesthetics.

I'm sure this'll incite flameage, I turn to Tacomaworld for a lot of outdoor truck use intel, including cool DIY canopy/topper storage, sportsman stuff related to truck use and mods. This site is a little shy on that, too. A lot of the outdoor enthusiast crowd seems to gravitate to Toyota Tacoma. Maybe someday they'll learn why Ranger is superior ;).

Be the change you want to see in this forum... Start posting up your outdoor ranger activities. I will join you with that.

As for Facebook, they all suck, with a bit of good thrown in. I went through 181 pages on Tacoma World before I bought my RSi SmartCap, so I can't blame you for going there. I will agree, there is more outdoor focused people in the Tacoma world.

I spend a lot of time wheeling my Ranger, and posting pictures and talking about my rig. You can check out my build thread in my signature. As for Facebook, people don't read posts and most the questions are "what tire size can I fit". Since people don't want to read, they just go for the pictures. And a large majority of people only wash and wax their Rangers.
