The commercials aren’t lying, you really CAN save by switching to Geico! Lol A couple months ago, my insurance cost nearly doubled because of the accident I had a while back. I went from paying $150 to $285 monthly for full coverage.
My wife has been with Geico forever, so we called to see if we could add my truck and open a policy for me. They told us that they currently aren’t adding any new customers from CA because the cost is too much for them. However, because my wife has been with them for over a decade, they’d help us out.
For both of our trucks, I’m paying less than half of what AAA was charging me, $120 for the same coverage! The only thing we don’t have now is roadside assistance, but we can always get that from AAA for like $100 annually. I’m definitely glad I made that phone call and switched.
When I called AAA to cancel my policy, the guy laughed and said “I don’t blame you for switching. Even with discounts applied, we can’t come close to that price. Thank you for being a valued AAA customer for 12 years. I’ll let my manager know that we screwed another customer to the point of leaving…”
