The shipping prices seems so high across the board, anyone know why? Seems to be the case for most if not all ford oem parts sellers online.

It feels like they are penalizing us for buying their parts and not taking it to the dealer for repairs. As a side note been restoring a vette I purchased and the GM parts shipping isn't any better!
Just don't buy from Ford parts prime. You won't get what you ordered or you money back. And they are not affiliated with Ford.

Totally my thoughts. I upgraded my battery size (H7 from H6) and really don't want to spend $20 on a $40 lariat battery cover that will also take 5-10 days to process and ship lol.

It's not Ford Parts - Specifically - It's the Shipping Vendor that dictates the shipping cost. If you plan on shipping a package this Christmas season - you will note it's become expensive to ship anything, even with my airline discount - it's expensive.

Agree. I get gov employee discounts on certain things I buy and even then, the shipping costs have been noticeably high lately. I spent almost as much on shipping costs as I did on actual gifts this year.

if you ship to the dealership, you don’t need to get it installed by them.

I would venture to say, most parts are produced in other countries. Therefore the tariffs that have been enacted by the current administration, take over. So the cost of the tariffs are passed down to the consumer. Which is how tariffs work.

I suppose but why not increase the item price vs the shipping. TBH the shipping for some small parts has always seemed pretty high.
