I found a pair of unused, open box Phillips X-tremeUltinon LED H11 bulbs for $60 and intended on using them for the headlights. I wanted these because they're from a brand that I've actually heard of and they have positive reviews. Unfortunately, they're too large to fit in Ford's headlight housing. I'm quite familiar with being too large
so I decided to install them in the fog lights, instead. They do fit easily into the fog lights, which quite frankly is what they are intended for (per what the box says). Lots of extra wire with the dongle that comes off of these bulbs which I had to basically blind, one-handed zip tie up, but no big deal. Fog light brightness is significantly improved. Hint of blue in the light in-person, but nothing "tuner douche". I will put yellow tint over the lights eventually because fog lights are supposed to be freakin' yellow, turn signals are supposed to be amber, and headlights are supposed to be... you get my point. I don't presently feel the need to install an aftermarket cube light there because, well, these LEDs are bright enough.

And to the anti-LED glare people... the only time I bother to press the fog light button is off-road.
