I went to a few exhaust shops, looking to "delete" the muffler.... 2 shops, with absolutely nothing going on, not closing for a few hours, said, they couldnt get to it today.

One shop told me $220.

Nah bruh, hard pass.

Miami has a “cold” front swinging through, so I took a drive out to the levee. Currently enjoying a $2 cigar with the cool 7 mph breeze rolling through.

Lovely image! Spent two years in Hialeah, half a year in Holly Hill, half a year in Jax Beach before being raised in Jacksonville. That was long ago!

Went to local schools winter tire change fundraising. Transferred some stuff around and changed the tires on customer cars. With a crew of 5 we changed winter tires to some 34 cars, or 136 tire changes, 27 for each.. With home tools & compressor took 3 hours..

Now I'm planning to wash the car, but well see.. I got water running down the hose to melt it since it froze over night.

Another Friday, another trip into town.

I went to get the insurance for the Ranger and the wife's Escape switched over to a new company. I was paying WAY too much for insurance on a truck that barely leaves the garage and was able to get it for around $600 a year. (Nationwide SmartMiles)

Don't laugh at me, but I just learned about Spotify and put the app on my phone a few days ago.

I was surprised to discover that it can be played through the Ranger's radio this morning. :D This makes up for the lack of a CD player, lol.

Next gen was in need of a new electronic calculating machine for studying* and had checked out available thingy's due to this "shortage", found a killer deal and presented the business case. Of course the damn thing was out of town, the business case was based on "Pappa betalar" methodology and needed to be collected in 24 hours from 100 miles off. For a good try I approved the business case and took the ranger out of town to collect it. Even with the fuel & mileage the "hourly salary" for the drive, due to the reduced "we're getting rid of the last one" pricing, was about 100$/hour.

Best part was that I got couple of hours for myself and Tidal played some good tunes.

* = Bullshit, ain't gonna study with latest gen mid-range gaming PC with Ryzen, RTX & M2.

Currently camped out in a dispersed campsite near Cleveland, Tennessee. Heading back to South Florida tomorrow, but spent the day driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and into Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Spent the day exploring in the mountains. Went up a little in elevation and found some white stuff to play in.

I’m curious about the lights above the nerf steps. Do you use them as running lights or are they just to illuminate the steps when the doors open? I’m diggin’ the look, so any info is appreciated. Thanks!
