Hi Folks,

Ranger made a emergency run to the SuperMarket for Kale as the kale in the fridge had gone yellow and limp.... Tito was a happy camper eating the new fresh kale...

best,
Phil

Well, it wasn't today, but last weekend the Ranger stood watch as I cut out an old, brushy forest service spur road:

Got to test out my new electric chainsaw and I can say it exceeded my expectations!

I hauled a full bed load of wood chips/mulch this morning. After unloading all of that I got to looking and dang was the truck dirty. So it got a good washing today.

It was just a tad bit muddy getting in an out of the city yard waste dump after al the rain we have gotten lately.

Drove it to work. Helping a builder finish up a house about a mile from the Four Roses Distillery in Lawerenceburg, KY. I was too dirty to stop in after work, but if you're ever nearby, Four Roses has the best bourbon balls I've ever had. They were giving them away during the Bourbon Chase ad few years back or else I might not know of their awesomeness. The bourbon is pretty tasty as well.

got truck back from mechanic shop. 700 hundred later. its better but still has a brake problem. one caliper was clearly hanging. replaced etc. still feels like warped rotor when braking from speed. despite that drove a few hours off road and on. enjoyed some scenery. got too hot nearly died. survived lol.

a skid plate cam shot from the Nolan river bed. in summer about three miles are drive able. waters low, moss dies off and the bottom in most spots is limestone.

All recylables, so where I am, that means “no charge”. I love a dump run and when it’s free, I love it even more!

Ranger went to yet another antique engine and tractor show yesterday. This one was east of Cincinnati Ohio. Lots of tractors, engines including several working steam powered tractors driving around the grounds. This working steam shovel is one of the last in existence

Well it was really early this morning but the Ranger brought my wife and I home from a 1 tank trip to the The Big E, World's Greatest Dirt Track.
Cut it a little close to empty for the wife but I was confident in my ability to save fuel on the way home.

Yesterday, hooked up the utility trailer and loaded to the mowers and other yard tools. Drove out to my mom's place with my son and we helped my mom with the yard (storm dropped some good size branches in the yard and needed chain saw to deal with them) and moving some things around.

Nice use of a cargo net!

And is this her first year away from home - it sure is tough doing that move - good luck!
