I finally got around to adding a tailgate seal, this is the one from Truxedo. I didn’t bother trying to run one all the way along the bottom as I’ve only noticed water coming in the tailgate sides.

On its way...I like my add-on's to be functional. I compared Agency 6 and Factor55 recovery products and went with the Agency6
Grabbed the 2" Shackle Block kit with D-Ring & Hitch Pin for $60 as there are codes online for 15% OFF

Those look great and very functional. I'll have to add them to the list!

Got my spray-in bedliner put in today and 4x4 sticker removed. The grey/red clashed with the blue imo.

They gave me a 2020 Corolla rental, oh man I am not a fan of that. Had one of those tablet looking infotainment consoles, and all the driver aides. At first I was like, why is this thing pulling so much is the alignment that bad? Nope, car was lane keep assisting.

Made me really appreciate my "dumb" truck when I got it back.

I think it’ll work well. If you just do the sides then there’s enough to redo it again if they ever get damaged.

Those are clean looking steps...I like those, enough purchase still to be usable? They look like they tuck in nice.

CONGRATS!! I hate loans and owing anyone anything but with the 0% for 60/months I took the financing. I can make more with my money freed up which will eventually go for more stuff for my Ranger. lol

Nothing exciting here, just been constantly using my new snow brush every time I need the truck today!
Hmmm, that reminds me. I ditched my extended reach scraper last season because I didn't need it with the Focus. Time to get a new one.

We hate loans as well. Our largest fixed expense is Insurances and we pay them for the whole year at once.. I really hate car payments (or any payments for that matter) Although we lease a new CRV every few years to keep the wife in a new vehicle. I usually trade or sell after three years as well Hoping the newly redesigned Ranger will be a ten-year truck

I try to use dealer financing so they give me a better number on the new one. People will say it's a waste of money to buy every three years. I look at it as a luxury to be able to do that. It's not by the book finance 101 But at 3% I can hang awhile.

Dealerships will give a better deal if financed through them. The days of cash discounts are over. So I play the game and "go along with" the sales manager telling me the loan will be 8% I don't care if its 16% It's being paid off in three months either with a low-interest HELOC or cash. I owe about $12K on the Ranger I hate payments even at 0% . The joy of holding the title is far more than the joy of zero financing LOL

All my life I tried to structure loans/down payments to pay off in three years, IF I had to go four, I can't afford it.
Thats just me. Its a rule I used for years, Three and done.

All that said I would not advise anyone to use their home equity to buy a vehicle. I did because it's going to be paid off anyway but on MY schedule as a short term loan while I hold the Title.

Pick one of these up if they’re available where you are, it works great!

You sound like we could be twins!! I do the same, insurance one payment/yr,new truck every 3 but I do write it off for business and girlfriend leases a new car just so she has a newer, safe vehicle.

I've used my HELOC in the past when it just wasn't worth the aggravation going through the loan process either with the dealer or the bank. Most told me I was crazy using a HELOC but a lot of people don't know how to handle their finances. I've always lived within my means and never "lived" for a house,car,motorcycle...etc! I've worked on so many McMansions and never can understand why 4 people need that much space? The house I'm working on now is 4350 sq ft and 2 people live there:question:To each their own but I hate hearing people say I'll never be able to retire yet they're the first one in line for the newest......fill in the blank, new cars, fancy vacations and Starbucks everyday!
