Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
I know, I really hated to see that truck go, it was a real trooper and gave me 0 problems. Someone will get a good ride out of the deal.

The F150 is on a whole other planet though. It is pretty clear Ford knows where their bread is buttered and where their development dollars go.
Just yanking your chain. The new ride looks nice! And you continue to demonstrate impeccable taste with your choice of color.

Sweet man, but I hate to see you go I look forward to your posts! I would have a 150 if it fit in the garage they are about 6" to long. I keep threatening to move the wall to the dining room but I know what that will get me... What did that baby cost before TTL if you don't mind sharing?

I don't mind.

I had to accept a 7% interest rate, but the truck will get refinanced in 4 payments, so add a little to that. Interest rates certainly aren't as good as they used to be.

This is the deal I ended up accepting:

The on-board generator powering the camper. I could easily power 2 campers with the available 7200 watts. This is just running AC and charging the LifePO4 battery bank. Just loafing along.

When my Ranger got a new engine this past October, the dealer was nice enough to put me in a Powerboost F150 XLT so we didn't need to miss our beach camping trip. Had it almost 2 months lol. A few months later we got to do the same drive with the Ranger, which also did it fine, but the F150 powerboost was a beast at towing.

It was a great truck but man, I just enjoy living with a mid-size. For road trips and towing though, you can't beat the F150. The problem is, if I HAD to go full-size, I would want a F150 Raptor and I don't sell enough computers to afford that yet lol

Pretty much the exact same way I feel. I love driving the midsize. Easier to maneuver, park, etc.

'Adequate' is the way I would describe the Ranger towing our rig. It works, and I would have no qualms about taking it across county. Hell, I even looked at a new Ranger, but when the deal came up on the PB I jumped. Night and day towing. So much more comfortable and so much less work on longer trips.

The F150 might make me put more miles on the Type-S. Maybe I'll put it back into commuter duty.

Well if you would be so kind, let us know how much better it tows, recently 2 gents in my neighborhood picked up f150 tremors for towing their TT and both say they should have done it sooner.

Sure, its night and day as you would expect.

The Ranger is adequate for my TT. I'd have no problem hitching up and running it across country. It always did everything I asked it to and then some.

The F150, as you would expect, is better. More power, more weight, more stability, more fuel used.

The power of this truck is flat out amazing. I always thought the Ranger punched well above its weight class, and I still think that. I'd still be in a Ranger if it weren't for the deal I got. 570 lb/ft is hard to argue with.
