Did anyone have to install the window channel clip with the front deflector? Was it easy to install the deflector over the top of the clip?
I just put mine in last week and used the channel clip. No issues with it so far, and if you do it the way the instructions say, it's not hard and does not appear to damage any of the weatherstripping.
I then left my windows up for about 5 or so days just to give it all a chance to "seat" and warm up in the sun some.
Windows operate just fine.
There is a slight bump noise as the window gets to where the shade is at the very top of the door, but ONLY a slight bump. Never hangs up.
I had these for well over a year on my '19 Ranger as well (that set did not have the clips) and experienced the same thing. Easy install and no hang ups.
Hope this helps!

My daughter had these in her Ford Focus. Passenger window burned out a motor because of it “hanging up” on the deflector. I had to remove them and carefully sand the leading edges down to a taper. Took old 3M tape off and put new on. Stopped window hanging up but the last inch of window closing you could hear the motor strain to finish and seat closed.
I don't believe there is tape on the in-channel ones, at least my AVS ones didn't.

I have the weathertech inchannels for the supercab so only front windows which have been fantastic, no complaints. One thing I found intriguing is it says made in Germany on them, doesn’t weathertech pride itself in being made in USA? That’s the impression I get from all their commercials anyway

Apparently MOST of what they have is made in USA. My Shades were shipped from somewhere here in the States, but the website does say made in Germany.
