This is just about the lowest price you're going to see on this fluid. I've used it, works just as well as Motorcraft ULV and it is cheaper than RockAuto once you take into account shipping. I think NAPA will ship it to you for free if you order over $35.

AH they are screwing with me with the 6 quantity requirement. I need 15 quarts with my PPE pan.
Where do you see that info ?
I have to order it as local store is out, but will get it in tomorrow...I entered 8 into cart with no problem...

When I did ship to house they bounced back "Minimum quantity 6 and order must be in multiple of 6." So I ordered 18. I just did the transaxle fluid too (which uses the same transmission fluid), damn. Nearest store is an hour away.

My store is only 10 minutes away....I'll run over there today and try to order 10....if they only sell in "6" packs, I'll order 12.

12 would have worked with the stock pan. I could have topped it off with some leftover D6. But I got the DEEP PAN. That's the price I pay for going deep. Maybe I will just claim the extra bottles leaked and get them for free.

Don't think it takes that much for just a pan drain and fill....
Can anyone chime in with the amount needed to fill with a deep pan swap.........
I think I read that 7 quarts would fill the stock plastic pan, and 9 or so would fill the deep pan, like the PPE Deep Pan.

Capacity says 12.8 + 1.75 for the deep pan. I figure not much leftover since I'm dropping the whole pan.

Of course it also said 700ml for the transaxle when it took closer to 1500ml. I had to stop, order and top off a day later.

That number is for a TOTAL fluid replacement....for the entire trans internals.....
Pan takes a lot less like 6-7 quarts, i believe.

I see where he filled with 7 qts, but cold, and he stated he measured when cold.....ran it till it got hot, but no mention of if/how much he had to add when at correct temp.
I'm guessing that with the new pan, when fluid is hot, probably took a bit more to bring to proper amount.
I know fluid in mine/stock pan, is at correct amount via Fitzstick measurement. When I drain old fluid, I will drain into some empty one gallon containers to get measure of how much comes out, then refill same to new pan, add one quart, run till hot, measure, and top off. New Mish pan supposed to take an xtra 2 qts, so after first xtra qt, should be in ballpark for one more qt.
I like to be as accurate as possible, but when you come right down to it, a few ounces high or low is not going to be detrimental or cause the tranny to go "poof".

Went to local NAPA and ordered a case to have a few xtra on hand. $6.49 a qt is cheap compared to regular price.

Just a quick note - the transfer case does *not* use the same fluid as the transmission. I believe the transfer case uses Mercon LV, while the trans uses the ULV.
