That’s impressive and scary at the same time.

I empty mine every 250-300 miles from fall to spring. It’s usually full of fuel. In the summer I barely get a couple drops of oil. How have you not emptied yours in 19k miles?

The contents of that jug is what has been coming out the the catch can since I installed it.

Do you check it? Mine would have overflowed within the first month
Of course I check it. In summer at each oil change. In the late fall to spring much more often. That is how that stuff ended up in the jug.

Installed the catch can at 3K miles. So here we are 22K (25K on the odometer) miles later with the results.

Wow! I installed mine a year ago and have collected about 3 tablespoons full in 9000 miles. I wonder if the difference is the dry AZ air.

So you can't get these in California? You would think they would like the oil caught, not burnt?
They seem to "catch" more oil than fuel.

I have gone through 3 major storms in since installing the can. The last being the remnants of Helene when driving 675 miles from upstate NY to central NC. It rained heavily from north of Syracuse, NY to Richmond, Va. It did not fill the can, but it was close.

The content wasn't just water either, gas and heavy heavy clumps of oily goo in the bottom of the can.

Ya, we are usually below 25% humidity and I hardly drive in the rain. Mine smells like fuel. With everything whipping around in the motor, I bet the water and oil get mixed a little. I felt like I wasted money on it but yours is a testament that they work.

What a garbage engine design. Couple that with their stellar transmission and you can tell Ford saw us coming. Jus' sayin'.
Are you nuts? Uhhhhhh the 2.3T is actually really badass. Crazy good power and mpg, no oil consumption, very high longevity and durability. Toyota, Jeep, etc. are all garbage in comparison to the Cleveland 2.3T. The fuel and water in the oil is absolutely normal for a turbo in the winter. Do some research ??

No need to get nasty. I know how turbos work.
