How hard can it be to allow customers and owners to get updates?
It's always a pain and seems a simple solution to allow owners to be competent and reliant...

But not for Ford....dam!!!!

I'm once again missing the file to notify Ford of the update. As usual, can't find the map info.

FWIW, I don't see Ford's approach any different than Hyundai's. My only complaint about either of them is that I hear about updates through user forums. I don't believe I've ever received notification from the manufacturer.

That's my experience as well. This forum has been great for all kinds of help. Maybe Ford expects to check your truck for updates - then charge for the service. The dealer sure lets you know of required maintenance and includes coupons...lol.
