I dare say this has been answered, but my searching skills are coming up short…

I have spare wheels in my garage with TPMS, and the tire pressure for those wheels is being reported. Is there a way for my vehicles TPMS to forget or ‘unlearn’ those sensors?

I believe that if you just drive the truck for 10-15 miles or so that the system will pick up the sensors in the new set (as long as they have been programmed for your Ranger)

hahaha, finally there is a use for the approved programming tool.
Ha - I wasn’t aware of that tool…interesting, but not sure I’ll go that route.

Thanks - that’s a thread I couldn’t find.

To add more color…the tires I have on my truck right now don’t have TPMS (but don’t worry, I have a pump and a good old fashioned pressure gauge) so the truck won’t relearn anything from those wheels. I am just trying to not have the FordPass app bounce between “you have no TPMS” when I am away from home, to reading the tires in the garage when I am at home.

I suspect Forscan is my friend…I’ll just look to disable TPMS for now.
