It won't.....Obviously we are very dry here in Colorado but we get in the triple digits in summer and it definitely bakes the hood good. I've had the wrap on for 3 summers and not a bit of issue with the heat. Like I said in another post, it's the brutal winter cold that causes issues for wraps. Mine is a 3M product and the color is Shadow Black. 3M specifications say it has a working life of 5-7 years.What I really want to have done is to get a matte black vinyl hood wrap with graphic done, with a ghosted in topographical image. My fear though is that the brutal Florida sun will cook that vinyl and cause more issues.
