The first cool thing is the truck somehow knew that I had the trailer hitch on and added a dotted line in the backup camera, so that it really aided backing up directly to the trailer receiver.

The second cool thing was once I hooked up the trailer, it asked me automatically how wide the trailer was and how long the trailer was. (Actual wording was different). I knew those menus were there, but thought I would have to search for them, but they automatically popped up.

I thought, both of those things were cool.

I also liked the positioning of the plug in. It was much higher than my SUV and kept the cord nice and high and not with the potential of the cord dragging.

We will see how it actually tows tomorrow.

Yeah the dotted Centerline makes lining up the coupler real easy. You want something else cool just hit the plus button in the upper left of the screen and it zooms In on the hitch ball.

Once you set the trailer width and length it adjusts you blind spot indicators for the trailer length whenever you plug the trailer in.

Naturally after reading about the + sign, I raced out into the dark and tried it. I wondered about that because my old SUV had a zoom feature on it’s back up camera as well. Even more cool now!

Hmmm, my dotted center line has always shown even though I have nothing plugged into my hitch?

Maybe I have never noticed it before. I have used the backup camera many times before and only noticed it when it lined up with the hitch.
